I recently joined a program called “sixminutestosuccess”. Looking at the title of this program, the reader probably wonders if it is really possible to achieve success in six minutes. This is a catchy title that prompts one to probe into the meaning of this title. Six minutes to success is really a program conducted by Bob Proctor where he teaches the technique to achieve success. Success is a progressive realization of our ideals. So naturally it behooves us to examine our ideals. These ideals can cover any area of our lives, whether it is financial, personal relationships or personal development. The charm of this program is that you are given a six minute video, prompting you to think of an action plan to achieve your ideal by giving it some thought every day first for six minutes and then carrying over that process of thinking for the rest of the day.
How does this benefit a person? This is one way of programming the mind. We all can understand this concept very well when we think of the way we have been programmed with knowledge given to us through our whole school life. A bit of information has been added to our human data base every day, repetitively and gradually, increasing that knowledgebase. I learn a little bit of the scientific principles in the fifth grade. The same principles are discussed again in 12th grade but it has a lot more information added to the same line of thinking. The same principle is further explained with experiments and conclusions and applications.
I recently joined this program because of the spiritual principles being discussed which really resonated with me. The spiritual principles discussed here are not so uncommon and may seem like nothing new especially to those who are following various schools of philosophy or metaphysics. This program teaches you how to apply those principles to achieve your ideals or goals. To have a secure financial situation is everybody’s ideal and nobody can disagree with that. So this is one of the ideals - secure financial freedom - taken as an example in applying the spiritual principles to. I would like to explain why in this article. Hopefully, I can take each principle in more articles and discuss them from the advaitic point of view.
Bob Proctor talks about reprogramming the subconscious mind and gives a technique to do so. Why is it so important to reprogram the subconscious mind? If we are not getting the results we want then it is not a well written program. However, it takes time to change the program to a new one and this is where the www.sixminutestosuccess.com program works so wonderfully because it helps you develop the right actions that become a habit and give you the desired results. If you want to succeed in life then this is definitely the program that will help you in all your endeavors. For to succeed means to follow thru and this program will definitely harmonize your thought, word and deed to succeed in life. My next article will talk about the importance of the subconscious mind.
If you would like to hear more about the program you can view Bob Proctor explain it beautifully here
